We Need Your Help
The Government of Ontario has recently announced significant changes to post-secondary funding and student financial assistance. These changes include:
- The removal of the domestic tuition freeze;
- Allowing institutions to increase tuition by up to two percent per year for the next three years; and
- A restructuring of OSAP that shifts financial support from grants toward greater reliance on loans.
For low and middle-income students, grants are often the deciding factor that makes post-secondary education possible. Increasing reliance on loans means higher debt loads and increased barriers for future students.
Education is a public good that builds Ontario's workforce. That is why students across campuses are coming together to call on the Government to rescind its decision and meaningfully invest in education.
How to Take Action

If your MPP is a Progressive Conservative, email them directly to share how these changes affect you.
